Meet Grace:
One of the things that has helped me get through law school is taking schoolwork outside of traditional study locations. While there’s a table in the library that you can often find my friends and I at during the day, sometimes working in a new location is what you need. On top of the list of local coffee shops we spend our weekends rotating through, I’ve had my breakthrough moment understanding how Due Process works while in line at Disneyland, quizzed my friends on evidence rules during the drive to LA for a concert, and prepared for EIW applications and interviews while enjoying a day at the beach.

Similarly, the support of classmates has helped me get through even the busiest and most chaotic times in Law School. Whether it’s a friend offering to drive so we can make it from class to a pro bono project, an alumni offering to edit my resume before applying to 2L summer jobs, or my clinic partner graciously agreeing to take a break from our last minute amicus brief edits to try my favorite Sonic slush (blue raspberry with nerds), there is always someone in the UCI Law community who is willing to help out or tackle a part of the law school journey with you.
