Bar Licensure Planning: ASP strongly recommends students review the 2L Bar Licensure Overview or 3L Bar Licensure Planning Guide that explains how UCI's law school curriculum overlaps with what will be tested on the bar exam. You may also view a list of courses helpful for bar prep here.

Become an Admissions Ambassador: Meet with prospective students to answer questions about what law school is like and your experience in the application process. Whether it's volunteering for a panel, tour, or law fair, your expertise as a current law student can make the difference for a prospective one. Apply by June 28. 

2Ls: Early Interview Week (EIW) Updates:

1. EIW Bidding is now open. Review pages 21-23 of the EIW Student Guide for instructions for both EIW Bidding and Resume Collect, as well as pages 2-9 for instructions on how to research employers.
2. Mock Interview Program, July 8 to July 19, between 8:00am and 6:00pm: CDO highly encourages students to participate in this virtual program. Register for a specific timeslot in the events section in LEO by the following deadlines:
   • Friday, July 5 at 2:00pm for mock interviews for July 8 and July 9
   • Tuesday, July 9 at 2:00pm for mock interviews for July 10-12 and July 15
   • Monday, July 15 at 2:00pm for mock interviews for July 16-19
3. EIW resources are available on the CDO's On-Campus Interviewing page.

CAREER FAIRS

2Ls: Bay Area Diversity Career Fair: Thursday, July 18 through Friday, July 19; Virtual: Meet with law firms and government legal departments in the San Francisco Bay Area. Deadline to register and include submission of all bids and application materials is Friday, June 14 at 11:59pm.

3Ls: Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy (PPA): Defender Career Fest Fall 2024: Louisville, KY: Students selected to attend the Career Fest will be invited to an in-person event in August or September to learn more about DPA, meet DPA defenders, and interview with DPA leadership. Submit your information by the priority application deadline on June 24.

UCI Basic Needs Center: Due to a re-roofing project this summer, the FRESH Pantry will be closed. All other resources will continue to be offered, including emergency food services by appointment, through the Mobile Food Pantry. Refer to their website for center hours and updated information.
