1Ls: Outlining Workshop with APALSA, BLSA, FGP, LLSA, and MESALSA: Tuesday, October 8; 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Zoom: Learn tips on how to create and structure an outline, different types of outlines, and helpful study tips. Witness those tips in action with an example outline for one of the 1L courses.
Business Law Society x Ropes & Gray Coffee Chats: Learning the Ropes: Sign up for a coffee chat with an experienced attorney mentor from Ropes & Gray to receive career guidance and a free e-gift card for a local coffee shop. The priority deadline to register is Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
Orange County Asian American Bar Association (OCAABA): 2024-2025 Mentorship Program: Participants will be paired with an experienced attorney or judge for general guidance on the legal profession, including career tips and skill development. Students must be current OCAABA members, attend at least one event, and meet or call once per semester to foster the mentoring relationship. Apply by Thursday, October 31.
World Mental Health Day - Thursday, October 10: Many organizations promote this as an opportunity to raise awareness, share resources, and advocate for change.

1Ls: The Foundation of the Federal Bar Association Scholarship: The Dr. J. Clay Smith Jr. Diversity in the Legal Profession Scholarship promotes diversity and encourages racial and ethnic minority students to complete law school. At least one recipient will receive a $15,000 scholarship, disbursed over three years of law school, along with a complimentary FBA student associate membership. Apply by November 1.
