Housing Renewals for Continuing Students and Summer Lease Extensions for Bar Exam: DEADLINE – Respond by March 12.  The first step in residents of on-campus housing requesting a renewal or a summer extension (graduates – if you want to stay in your housing through the Bar exam, you need to apply) is to complete the Graduate Intent Survey (GINT) indicating your preference and need.  The survey went out via email from Housing on February 13, and residents must respond by March 12. Summer Associate Hub 2L Job Fair in NYC on Friday, May 30; New York, NY:  1Ls seeking 2026 2L summer associate positions in NYC should pre-register (using this form) to attend this job fair when the pre-registration opens this Monday, March 10 at 2pm PT (pre-registration does not guarantee a spot, but is the best way to secure a spot, which will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis per school).

University of Iowa College of Law France Study Abroad Program: There are spots available for this study abroad opportunity. The cost is $8,000, which includes 6 credits, housing, legal and touristic visits, plus opening and closing meals. The program spends the first five days in Paris and then goes to the beach front town of Arcachon, one hour from Bordeaux.  The courses include: Introduction to French Law I (one credit) and II (one credit) (Paris lawyer/professor Michael Amado); Comparative Criminal Procedure  (2 credits) (Iowa associate dean Dawn Anderson & Judge Lars Anderson); and Law in the Muslim World (2 credits) (Iowa professor and Program Director Dean Adrien Wing). Mock Trial Information Session; Monday, March 10th at 12:00pm; EDU 1121: Join the UCI Law Mock Trial Board on Monday, March 10th to learn about the upcoming Mock Trial Board positions, application process, and the benefits of participating in Mock Trial. Registration for the event is not required.

Tax Analysts Summer Fellowship: This fellowship will fund two J.D. or LL.M. students to work for 10 weeks at a public service tax organization during the summer of 2025. Learn more and apply here by March 17, 2025.
