1Ls: Annual Bay Area Diversity Career Fair (BADCF): BADCF will be held virtually on July 10th (virtual panel) and July 11th (virtual interviews) for students to engage with leading law firms, corporate in-house legal departments, government agencies, nonprofit and other private/public legal employers. Student registration and bidding opens Monday, April 14. Register and finish bidding by Friday, May 30th!
1Ls and 2LS: 2025 Loyola Chicago Patent Law Interview Program, June 5 and June 6: Patent law employers will conduct virtual interviews for summer associate positions. Register here by the deadline on April 14 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
2Ls: Ms. JD Fellowship applications are open. This nine-month program promotes mentoring and professional development to women law students. Apply here by May 4, 2025.
8th Annual Intellectual Property Law Career Day: Saturday, April 12, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., EDU 1111, EDU 1131, and the California Room (Law Library): Learn about IP Law, career opportunities in IP Law, and make connections with IP Lawyers from Southern California law firms. All students interested in IP law are welcome to register in LEO.

- Wed., April 16, 12-1, LAW 3750, Prof. Bob Chang will discuss Executive Power and the Rule of Law highlighting the amicus briefs Bob and the Korematsu Center are filing in the Perkins Coie and Birthright Citizenship litigations.
Pro Bono & Student Life Awards: Wednesday, April 16 in the Continuing Education Building – Yosemite Rooms: We will recognize students that earned pro bono honors and reveal the results of the SBA student-run awards. Doors will open at 5:30 and the program will begin at 5:45. Please RSVP.
Summer Associate Hub 2L Job Fair in NYC on Friday, May 30: New York, NY: 1Ls seeking 2026 2L summer associate positions in NYC should pre-register (using this form) to attend this job fair when the pre-registration opens this Monday, March 10 at 2pm PT (pre-registration does not guarantee a spot, but is the best way to secure a spot, which will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis per school)
One-Session Therapy Appointments with Dr. Chan: Dr. Chan will now be offering One-Session Therapy Appointments for the remainder of Spring Semester, 2025 (Please note that One-Session Therapy Appointments are available with other providers at the Main Counseling Center year-round).
To schedule, please call the Main Counseling Center at (949)-824-6457 and indicate that you would like to schedule a One-Session Therapy Appointment with Dr. Chan. If your concern is not a good fit for One-Session Therapy Appointments, Dr. Chan is still offering Initial Assessment Appointments that serves as an entry point for students who wish to participate in short-term therapy. The First Generation Professionals (FGP) Professional Clothing Drive: They are looking for blazers, blouses, slacks, button-up collared shirts, ties, shoes, belts dresses, and skirts. Any clothing that is not claimed by a law student at the end of the drive will be donated to the UCI Basic Needs Center. Drop off and/or pick up gently used professional clothing from 10am-4pm in EDU 1016 from April 14 to April 18.
Know Your Rights: Please refer to the information in this Know Your Rights guide provided by UCOP for immigrant legal services. Copies have been posted on the student bulletin boards within the Law School and pocket/wallet-sized cards are available for pick-up in the Student Affairs and Student Services Suite (MPAA 210). The suite also has red cards available from the Immigrant Legal Resource Center.
