Research interests/agenda:
Water resource governance; transboundary resource management; dispute resolution
I explore the human-environment relationship to understand how transboundary water resources can be used as a tool for cooperation rather than conflict. I currently conduct reseach on regional-level policy innovations within the water scarce regions of the Southwestern United States and the Middle East. My goal is to inform multi-level and inclusive policy decision-making processess that can aid in the peaceful resolution of resource conflicts through the integration of policy, political science and legal studies.
