About UCI Law in NYC

Summer Program
Each summer, UC Irvine Law students who plan to be in New York have the opportunity to participate in a ten-week series of educational and social events.
Under the guidance of a full-time member of the UC Irvine Law faculty, students are invited to gather for roundtable discussions with leading figures from the New York legal community, including judges, partners in major law firms, lawyers working at investment funds and financial institutions, lawyers working at legal aid organizations, prosecutors in the Southern District of New York, human rights advocates and United Nations officials.
Every other week during the program, students are invited to participate in law-themed activities throughout the city, such as visits to the New York Stock Exchange, the Tenement Museum, the High Line public space project, the New York-Historical Society, and a theater outing featuring law-related issues.
UC Irvine Law alumni are encouraged to participate in the program as a way to mentor current students and to meet one another.
