Meet Sarah:
Hi everyone! As a first-year law student and Admissions Ambassador at UC Irvine Law, I’m excited to connect with prospective students and share why I chose this incredible institution.
A major factor in my decision to attend UC Irvine Law was its emphasis on experiential learning. From the start, students are given numerous opportunities to gain real-world legal experience through clinics, pro bono work, and practical training. The wide range of ways to get involved—whether working with clients in a clinic or engaging in public service through pro bono projects—was incredibly appealing to me. The opportunity to apply what I was learning in the classroom to substantive legal work early in my education was something I deeply valued.
Attending Admitted Students Weekend ultimately solidified my decision. I had the chance to meet current students, faculty, and alumni, all of whom were incredibly welcoming and genuine. The faculty, in particular, stood out—they weren’t just brilliant, but also approachable and deeply invested in their students’ success. Now, as a student, I see that even more clearly. Every day, I feel incredibly fortunate to be learning from professors who both challenge and support us through this difficult journey of entering the legal profession.
UC Irvine Law has exceeded my expectations, and I’m very grateful to be part of such a dynamic and supportive environment. I look forward to helping prospective students discover what makes this school so special!
