Meet Zachary:
Hi, I’m Zachary Ho, a first-year law student at UC Irvine Law. I’m originally from Arcadia, California, and I came straight to UC Irvine Law after earning my B.A. in Political Science at the University of Southern California. While at USC, I minored in Business Law and specialized in Computer & Digital Forensics—all while working full time in the Public Affairs Department at The Walt Disney Company for about a year and a half. During my time at Disney, I helped organize numerous food drives, toy drives, and other community engagement initiatives that supported low-income neighborhoods. Through these projects, I saw firsthand how legal tools and advocacy can create tangible, positive change in people’s lives.

At UC Irvine Law, I’ve continued my commitment to community-centered work by getting involved in pro bono projects with Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles and the Elder Law and Disability Rights Center. This coming summer, I’m thrilled to be joining Paramount’s Production Risk Team as a legal intern, where I’ll explore another facet of the entertainment industry while building on my passion for impactful legal work.

As the first in my family to pursue a career in law, I know how intimidating and confusing the journey can be. That’s why I joined the UC Irvine Law Admissions Ambassador Program—to share my experiences, demystify the process, and help future applicants realize that a law degree can be an incredible avenue for helping others.
