Meet Brittney:
Hi! I was born and raised in Louisiana; so feel free to ask me about Cajun cuisine and the Mardi Gras season! I'm also a proud Spelman College graduate, a private historically Black liberal arts college in Atlanta, GA. After graduating, I chose to take two gap years filled with work, rest, and travel!
As a first-generation college graduate and law student, I chose to begin my legal career at UC Irvine Law because of the close-knit community that the school fosters. Having moved 1,500 miles away from home without familial support in California, I have received genuine support from my professors, mentors, and peers since the start of my first semester. Another big reason I chose UC Irvine Law is that it emphasizes pro bono opportunities, interdisciplinary learning, and practical training through clinics, which is the perfect recipe for becoming a well-rounded attorney.
I also understand how overwhelming choosing the right law school can be. Having navigated this journey, I love connecting with prospective students to help them determine what environment will best support their growth and aspirations. If you ever have questions about UC Irvine Law, I’m more than happy to chat!
