Meet Laurance:
Hi! I’m a K-JD who graduated from UC Davis in 2024. I had always planned on attending law school, and from the moment I stepped foot into UC Irvine Law, it has been one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences. The supportive learning environment and strong sense of community here defy the typical law school stereotype—people genuinely want to see each other succeed and grow in their legal careers. The faculty, professors, and mentors are incredibly engaged, putting in tremendous effort to help students achieve their goals.
Balancing classwork and the search for a summer job can be stressful, but UC Irvine Law provides countless resources and opportunities to support you along the way.
Outside of law school, I train jiu-jitsu and enjoy working out. Yes, you can have hobbies! Work-life balance is key to avoiding burnout and staying sharp throughout the semester.
If you have any questions about UC Irvine Law, I’m happy to help and share my experience! Feel free to reach out.
