Land Use and Real Estate Society

The Land Use and Real Estate Law Society (LURE) at the University of California, Irvine School of Law is committed to fostering a vibrant community for students interested in the dynamic fields of land use regulation and real estate law. Our mission is to provide comprehensive resources, networking opportunities, and educational experiences that deepen members' understanding of these complex legal disciplines and the practice areas of real estate law, property law, and related areas of practice.

LURE is dedicated to bridging academic study and professional practice by hosting a variety of events in collaboration with other student organizations at UCI. Through panel discussions, guest lectures, and interdisciplinary workshops, we aim to equip our members with a nuanced perspective on how these legal domains shape and are shaped by broader industry trends.

As a student-led organization, we welcome students from all backgrounds who share an interest in these fields and are committed to creating an inclusive, collaborative environment where ideas are exchanged, and professional aspirations are nurtured.
