Background:
Peter Afrasiabi is a partner at One LLP, a copyright, trademark, patent and entertainment law firm. He also has expertise in appellate litigation, having argued appeals before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals (patent cases), the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the California Courts of Appeal. While an attorney at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where Afrasiabi started his litigation career, he co-founded and co-directed the O’Melveny & Myers Ninth Circuit Pro Bono Project. Under that program, Afrasiabi directed and participated in numerous federal appeals, obtaining almost a 90% reversal for clients that had lost at the trial court. He is a graduate of the USC School of Law where he served as the USC Law Review Article Editor and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
