Background:

Amy Wegener is an Executive Coach and Consultant who partners with mid-career, senior and C-level executives to develop and enhance their leadership skills, set and achieve professional goals and aspirations, and successfully navigate career reinventions. She has worked with leaders and lawyers in global enterprises, mid-sized companies, and start-ups. Her coaching and consulting experience spans multiple industries, including law firms, in-house legal operations, legal technology, venture capital, technology, cryptocurrency, engineering, healthcare, and entertainment.

Amy previously spent nearly three decades in leadership roles at Paul Hastings LLP, with the last ten years focused on leading innovation, digital transformation, legal service delivery, and modernizing legal operations. Her expertise includes business strategy, leadership development, organizational design, large-scale change management, legal technology deployment, and practice management. Amy directed and led a global, multi-functional department of more than 50 lawyers, technologists, and legal operations professionals while at this law firm. She was recognized in 2020 by the Financial Times as one of the year’s most innovative Practice and Business Leaders in the Global Legal sector. Her team’s efforts were recognized by the International Legal Technology Association by winning the most Innovative Firm of the Year in 2020.

Amy obtained an MLIS from San Jose State University and a BA from Bucknell University. Amy obtained a coaching credential from UC Berkeley’s Executive Coaching Institute and has an Associate Certified Coach certification from the International Coaching Federation. Amy served on the advisory board of legal technology provider, LegalMation.
