Scholastica
UCI Law promotes student scholarship by subsidizing submission fees for students using Scholastica to submit article manuscripts to law reviews. To be reimbursed, students must get prior permission by following the instructions outlined below. Students who are deemed eligible are provided with up to $200 (total) for submissions while enrolled at UCI Law.
Alumni are eligible for reimbursed submission fees for six months after graduation (or one year after completing a joint JD/PhD program) unless they previously reached their $200 limit while enrolled at UCI.
Please follow the instructions below to apply for reimbursement. We cannot reimburse students who do not receive prior approval.
- Apply here: Scholastica Reimbursement Form
- Upload documentation indicating your advisor’s approval (ex. email exchange) and attach it to the Google Form.
- Wait for confirmation you have been approved before you pay Scholastica’s fees.
- Look for an email notification from Mari Kroll indicating whether you have been approved. This should be sent within 5-10 business days of submitting your application form.
- Complete your submission and provide Mari Kroll with a copy of your receipt.
Please note that reimbursements will not be processed retroactively for prior submissions.
