Dean Richardson to Receive Award from Korean Community Lawyers Association
UCI Law Dean and Chancellor’s Professor of Law L. Song Richardson will receive the Korean Community Lawyers Association’s Friend of the Community Award on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the organization’s 13th Annual Installation and Awards Dinner in Los Angeles. KCLA is a non-profit organization that provides professional development to the Korean American legal community and offers pro bono legal clinics to those in need.
An expert in criminal procedure, criminal law, and law and social science, Dean Richardson’s research focuses on implicit racial bias and its influence on decisions, perceptions and judgments. She is a member of the American Law Institute and serves on the Executive Committee of the Association of American Law Schools.
