UCI Law Alum Cinthia Flores ‘14 Featured on CBS News Series “Our American Village”
University of California, Irvine, School of Law (UCI Law) Alum, Cinthia Flores ’14, was featured by CBS News, “Our American Village.” Flores, an attorney and Board Member with the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board, described her native East Hollywood neighborhood and why she wants to remain a part of her community. Flores is a first-generation college and law school graduate. While a student at UCI Law she realized she wanted to dedicate her life advocating for others and giving back to the community where she grew up. While attending UCI Law, Flores served as a Student Regent on the University of California Board of Regent and received numerous scholarships, including: The California Bar Foundation Diversity Scholarship, the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund’s Earl Warren Scholarship and the Mexican American Bar Foundation Law School Scholarship. She was highlighted during President Obama’s 2014 UCI Commencement address for excellence and her plans to advocate for the rights of workers.
