UCI Law Video: The Constitutional Implications of Ebola

The Center for Biotechnology & Global Health Policy at UC Irvine School of Law hosted a public forum, “The Constitutional Implications of Ebola: Civil Liberties and Civil Rights in Times of Health Crises,” on Nov. 19, 2014, featuring Reverend Jesse Jackson, UCI Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky and health experts.

UCI Chancellor’s Professor of Law Michele Goodwin hosted and moderated the discussion. UCI Associate Professor of Public Health Andrew Noymer and Dr. George Woods, Jr. provided medical facts and figures about Ebola, and Rev. Jackson and Dean Chemerinsky discussed the civil liberties issues raised by the Ebola crisis.
