Prior to that she represented children as an attorney for the Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles. She received her J.D from Tulane University School of Law where she served as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Law and Sexuality, and received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego.

EDU 1026 | (949) 824-6166John Arden served for two years as a law clerk to the Hon. Peter C. Dorsey in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. After clerking, John worked in the New York City offices of Latham & Watkins, LLP where he focused on complex civil litigation matters. John has also worked in a small office of a large northeastern regional law firm, where he focused on labor and employment matters, and as a researcher for a boutique plaintiff side litigation firm. John received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was selected as a Legal Writing Instructor. He earned his M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Chicago and wrote his master’s paper on the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. John received his B.A. in Anthropology from the University of New Hampshire.

As a corporate attorney, Beth represented clients in corporate securities transactions and mergers and acquisitions; and on an ongoing basis, she provided advice on corporate law and securities law issues, including corporate governance matters. Beth received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she served as a Notes & Comments Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, and her B.A. in Political Science from Columbia College, Columbia University.

Leslie Parrish

EDU 1028 | (949) 824-3321Leslie Parrish previously practiced tax controversy law, representing low-income taxpayers as the Director of the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic for Indiana Legal Services in Bloomington. In 2018, she was awarded the Pro Bono Publico award from the Indiana State Bar Foundation for her volunteer work with agricultural and immigrant taxpayers. Prior to her time in Indiana, she directed the Self-Help Guardianship Clinic at the Los Angeles County Superior Court through Public Counsel’s Children’s Rights Project and represented children and caregivers in probate guardianship, immigration, and special education matters. She clerked for Chief Judge John T. Nixon in the Middle District of Tennessee and was an Associate Attorney with O’Melveny & Myers, LLP in Century City. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School where she served as an editor for the Journal of Law and Social Problems, and her B.A. in Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.

Before joining the law school she managed the President’s office at the Disneyland Resort, worked in Marketing, Press & Publicity for the Disneyland Resort and in Executive Recruiting for Gap, Inc.’s corporate offices. She runs On-Campus Interview Programs, manages the 12Twenty customer relationship management system and engages in employer outreach. She received her B.A. in International Studies, emphasis Political Studies, from Pepperdine University.

Caleb Sullivan

EDU 1034 | (949) 824-7652Caleb Sullivan previously practiced in the Washington, D.C. and Miami offices of White & Case LLP, where he litigated international trade disputes before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission, Mexico's Secretaría de Economía, and the World Trade Organization. He interned at the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations Secretariat in New York, and with the Political Affairs Section of the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. He received his LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law, where he specialized in public international law and human rights. He received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and his A.B. from Grinnell College. He is professionally proficient in Spanish.
