3+3 Articulated Program
Become a Double Anteater by earning your Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor degree at UC Irvine. You will be able to earn both degrees in six years instead of the usual seven years and receive $30,000 a year ($90,000 total) from UC Irvine Law during your JD program. This pathway is open to majors from partner programs.

Program Info
- Save a year of study at UCI. Earn Bachelor and JD degrees by completing undergraduate education in three years at UCI then pursue JD degree the following three years at UC Irvine Law.
- Receive undergraduate academic advising from respective program/school in order to earn Bachelor degree in three years.
- Receive law school admissions advising via information session, workshops, and office hours to prepare for law school applications.
- Receive $30,000 a year ($90,000 total) to UC Irvine Law for those that meet the eligibility requirements listed in the Eligibility section below.

To be eligible, UCI undergraduate students must:
- Be affiliated with one of UC Irvine Law’s UCI partner programs.
- Be on track to complete your Bachelor’s degree in three years’ time with a degree conferral date earlier than the beginning of the prospective student’s first year of law school.
- Apply to UC Irvine Law and be admitted with credentials at or above the median LSAT and undergraduate GPA of the prior year's entering class.
- Pay UC Irvine Law’s non-refundable seat deposit and matriculate as part of the entering class.
- Remain in good academic standing as required by the Law School.
- Meet with your undergraduate academic advisor for your major. Check that you are on track to complete your bachelor degree in three years.
- Request a referral from your undergraduate degree program to UC Irvine Law. The undergraduate degree program will let UC Irvine Law know that you are interested in the 3+3 Articulated Program.
- Apply to UC Irvine Law during the third year of undergraduate education at UCI.
Please note: The admissions decision to UC Irvine Law will be based on the review and merits of the application in the law school’s holistic review. No additional consideration will be given in the admissions review by participating in the 3+3 Articulated Program.
