Korean Lawyers in America Project (KLAP)

Calling all attorneys of Korean descent to participate in a research study on the career trajectories of Korean attorneys. 

About KLAP

KLAP is a longitudinal study consisting of narratives and survey data that traces the career trajectories of lawyers of Korean descent sho were educated and/or licensed in the United States. 

We aim to launch the survey in Summer 2025.

  • Insight into the landscape of Korean lawyers across sectors, generations, gender identities, and more. 
  • Analysis of how Korean lawyers shape and are impacted by the U.S. legal profession and education. 
  • Celebration of the accomplishments of Korean lawyers and survey of their career satisfaction. 
  • Contribution to the success of the future generation of Korean legal professionals.
