Submit Statement of Intent to Register (SIR)
Please be sure to pay the required SIR Deposit by the deadline(s) indicated in your “How to SIR” email that you received shortly after your admission to UC Irvine Law. The SIR Deposit allows the law school to prepare administratively for your arrival and opens other items, such as the housing application, for you to complete. Please be aware that you should submit the SIR Deposit by the deadline provided to you, or if your deadline is after April 15, at least 48 hours before the housing deadline to allow time for Housing to receive your SIR record.
UC Irvine Law Fall Semester '25 Plans
Some instruction for part of the Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented.
Qualifications for Admission to the Bar
In addition to a bar examination, there are character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar in every U.S. jurisdiction. Applicants are encouraged to determine the requirements for any jurisdiction in which they intend to seek admission by contacting the jurisdiction. Addresses for all relevant agencies are available through the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
